Potluck at the Specks

Date: Sunday, January 26, 2019

Place: The home of John and Sue Speck

It was A Dark,  Windy, & Cold Night - outside - Saturday night at John, Sue & Sara Speck's home.   Inside it was cozy, candlelit, filled with almost thirty IEYC members and guests preparing to serve Appetizers, Soups, Salads, Sliders, Desserts & Drinks.

Vice Commodore Gene Traupman welcomed all after ringing the Club's Bell which Superman Bosun Scott Sanders transported. (He would like a replacement after seven years on the job!) Announcements were made, Pledge to the American Flag and Invocation shared by John Speck after which dinner was offered buffet style.

Tables of ten, six, and four comfortably seated attendees in two rooms. Many oohs & aahs were heard as the variety of selections were noted, tried and appreciated! Actually, interesting, fervent, comical conversations filled the house happily!

Butterfly Angie announced plans for the February 17th Blind Auction at the Dunedin Golf Club & passed out flyers.

THANKS to the committee: Angie Traupman, Coordinator; John, Sue & Sara, Hosts; Mary Reinhardt & Arnie Shal; Dianne & Chuck Stebbins; Sherry Vincent; and Gary Bookout, Photographer!

It was a Bright, Warm and Camaraderie Evening enjoyed by everyone!
