Sixteen members gathered at the home of Carol and Harry Bickford on Saturday, March 12. Appetizers started at 5:00, followed by dinner and dessert. The wine and lavender lemon Collins were flowing!
Appetizers included deviled eggs, an antipasto platter and eggplant caponata. Main dishes included shrimp scampi, chicken marsala and eggplant involtini. Desserts included tortoni, cannolis, and miniature chocolate treats. After dinner, Scott Lefebvre gave us a taste of cream limoncello.
Thanks to the Butterflies – Angie Traupman, Mary Reinhardt, Bunni Lefebvre, and Sue Moncrieff – who cooked the main courses (taking over my kitchen) and did a great job of cleaning up (including washing and drying the dishes!)
