IEYC Membership​

Any person of good moral character, age 21 or over, who is interested in water or boating activities and who resides in the area of Island Estates or neighboring waters is eligible to become a member.

The membership of this Club shall be limited (capped) to seventy-five family or single memberships.  (In the event there is/are vacancy/vacancies of the membership roll and an Island Estates and an Off Island Estates resident apply during a one month period, then the Island Estates resident shall be eligible first.)

 

Before submitting an application, the prospective member must have attended at least one meeting or activity if the IEYC, at which time they shall be introduced by the sponsoring member as a prospective member to the members present.

 

INITIATION FEE:  The initiation fee is a one-time fee of $200.00.  The fee is not prorated and is not refundable.

 

Members who resign while the member is “in good standing” may re-apply for membership within five years and the initiation fee may be waived.  (Bylaws, Art. II, Sec. 2.7)

 

MEMBERSHIPS DUES:  Dues are $200.00 per calendar year for family and $100.00 for single memberships.

 

PRORATION:  Dues are prorated for members who join the club during the calendar year, as follows:

 

         Jan. 1 thru March 31           100%

         April 1 thru June 30            75%

         July 1 thru Sept. 30             50%

         Oct. 1 thru Dec. 31              25%

 

Dues are non-refundable to members who resign, or whose membership is terminated during the calendar year.
